Phychiatric Disorders Studied With PEMF Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields Therapy
Noting the well-established dangers associated with electro convulsive therapy, the author, in this theoretical article, argues that transcranial magnetic stimulation should be looked at as an alternative psychiatric treatment. The author asserts that TMS has several advantages over ECT in
that it is painless, noninvasive, and more effective on deep structures of the brain.
