Your kidneys do many important jobs. Crucially, they remove waste products and extra water from your body. They help make red blood cells, and help control your blood pressure. Likewise, it is important to take care of your kidneys because there is no cure for kidney failure.
Acute Pyelonephritis is the most common kidney disease. Simply, it is inflammation caused by an ascending urinary tract infection (UTI). Then, it spreads from the bladder to the kidneys and their collecting systems. The most common symptoms are flank pain, nausea and problems with urination. Importantly, we recommend visiting your doctor if you have these symptoms because they can eventually prove fatal. Also, you can have kidney disease without symptoms so seek help even if symptoms are very light.
We rarely find studies that test PEMF on kidney disease. However, studies exist for diabetes and high blood pressure; two diseases commonly associated with kidney disease. Also, this study found a direct relationship between quality of life and PEMF usage for dialysis patients. Importantly, the effects of kidney disease limit the type of exercise that keeps your body healthy. PEMF helps by decreasing fatigue and pain so patients are more likely to exercise. Additionally, PEMF increases bone strength making physical activity safer.
A number of machines have been granted patents for treating kidney disease. Specifically, the machines are shown to target adenosine A2A receptors that affect pain, inflammation and immune responses. Most importantly, these functions play an important role in overall health and recovery for sickness or injury.
It is a parallel to the old adage: Take care of your pennies and the dollars take care of themselves. In other words:
Take care of your cells and your body takes care of itself!
With this in mind, it is clear the PEMF world is ready for a breakout in kidney disease treatment. Eventually clinicians and physicians will do their own research and find PEMF is effective for so many reasons.
How can we be so sure?
It is simple. We have found 100’s and 100’s of studies and each time we read them we cannot find anything bad about using PEMF. Also, you may be treating problems you don’t even know you have when you use it. Therefore, with so much good press and virtually zero bad reports there is no way to go but up!
Hi, I am interested to use this. But what frequencies are you using for this? Is it safe, given that EMFs are bad? Is this for improving kidney function or for improving bone health and fatigue?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Dinesh
Hi Dinesh, This is a good question because even successful treatments vary widely. Generally, low frequencies (below 50Hz) and low intensities are used. This study here used intensities lower than you could receive by lying on the ground or taking a swim (15 millitesla). However, we have seen people get excellent results using a thousand times that power or more. Specifically, super high frequencies such as radar, microwaves and 5G are the ones that have shown to be dangerous. Otherwise PEMF at all levels has not produced and bad effects; i.e., it seems perfectly safe.
