Ankylosing Spondylitis Studied With PEMF Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields Therapy

Ankylosing spondylitis is a form of arthritis that can fuse joints together. I learned about this autoimmune disease from Jennifer, a Portland-area PEMF user who spoke at our last meeting. Using the PEMF regularly stopped the disease from progressing and gave Jennifer her life back.
Diagnosed at 18, Jennifer suffered from extreme pain, stiffness and fatigue throughout her adult life. Her rib cage and most of her spine are already permanently fused. The tiny bones and cartilage in her began to fuse causing some hearing loss, and the bones in her feet fused in the wrong position, requiring multiple surgeries and causing considerable pain.
Jennifer is a registered nurse who has taken literally every medication available for her condition, all of which quit working after a while. She stopped taking narcotics for the pain because they no longer worked, and she managed the progression of the disease with a constant supply of steroids. She says she also tried every natural and alternative solution and every diet, and while they all helped some, nothing stopped the ankylosing spondylitis from turning her skeletal system into a rigid prison of pain.
When Diane at Healthy Spaces suggested she try the PEMF, Jennifer was naturally skeptical — it sounded like another empty promise — but she trusted Diane and gave it a shot.
When she stood up after the mat session she felt disoriented. Not because she was dizzy but because the pain that had been her constant companion since her teens was suddenly gone. She gently stomped her feet to wake the pain up, but to no avail, it was really gone. She was pain-free for the first time in longer than she could remember and the sensation was eery and unfamiliar.
Naturally, Jennifer pursued more PEMF treatments and eventually bought one as did her mother, who also has ankylosing spondylitis, and the two quickly became dedicated users. Listening to Jennifer tell her before-and-after was amazing.
Before and after the PEMF with ankylosing spondylitis
It was after she started to use the iMRS regularly that the dramatic improvements began.
Prior to the PEMF, Jennifer worked only two days a week in her job as an operating room nurse, as it took the rest of the week for her to recover before she could work again. If she traveled anywhere, she was bedridden for days to recover. Her sleep was completely shot from the pain and stiffness that woke her throughout her the night. As a single mother to a young daughter, she feared her daughter, who already struggled with asthma, would one day develop the disease.
Jennifer has been using the iMRS for about two years and is a completely different person. Now she works up to six days a week while earning her PhD. She is pain-free and off all her medications, even the steroids, and she exercises regularly (although the skeletal fusions make running too difficult). The disease has quit progressing and her bones no longer fuse together.
Jennifer also sleeps deeply through the night now. No longer does she have to wake every 30-45 minutes to change positions because of the pain and stiffness. In fact, she can now go a solid eight hours not waking at all!
Although I didn’t know Jennifer before, today she is vibrant, attractive, and enthusiastic. So complete was her turn-around that, in typical fashion, one of her doctors said she must not have had ankylosing spondylitis in the first place. Of course, she has X-rays and lab tests that document the disease, but this kind of remission and recovery is unheard of in conventional medicine.
Not only has the iMRS helped Jennifer and her mom, but it is also helping her daughter, 6, with her asthma and general well-being. Jennifer said the PEMF works great on temper tantrums and emotional distress in children, not to mention bumps and bruises. In fact, she said if you get two bruises at the same time, use the PEMF wand on one but not the other and witness for yourself how quickly the treated bruise disappears.
PEMF makes you more of who you are
Jennifer tells her daughter that using the PEMF just makes them more of who they are. We are not our disease, discomfort, fatigue, insomnia, pain, or depression, but it sure is easy to become identified with those disorders when they consume our lives. By finding a way free from them we get to be who we really were designed to be while on this planet.
