Every story here comes from a real person. We tell you where each one comes from: our own customers, owners who bought from the manufacturer, or published survey data. Individual experiences vary. Home PEMF systems are general-wellness devices. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a health condition, talk with your physician.
From Russ’s calls
“Start small and feel it for yourself.”
The most common mistake I see is people becoming frozen, paralyzed by all the new information and all the options. My advice is that for about $500 you can get a StemPulse and see it, feel it, for yourself. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, if your health and wellness is important to you.

A grandfather in New Jersey (2021)
A grandfather called me about his teenage granddaughter. The family had been renting sessions on a high-powered PEMF device, and the two-week gaps between rentals were hard on them. He went with her to one session, tried one on his own back, and bought a MegaPulse the next day. A few years later, on a follow-up call, he told me she was living a normal high-school life and swimming on her school team. She’d been doing her homework with the butterfly loops on her hips.

How ElectroMeds started (2007)
A friend of mine, Tom, was complaining about a sore shoulder. Another friend had just bought a PEMF device and gave Tom a session by my pool. A few days later Tom, a famous penny-pincher, sent him $40 for it. That got my attention. I started researching PEMF, and ElectroMeds opened in 2008.

Sedona Pro owners
These owners bought from Sedona Wellness, the manufacturer, and posted these reviews in 2019. Several mention Franz Zach, Sedona’s owner, who supported them directly. They are shown as published on electromeds.com at the time (archived copy).
“Best all around PEMF system on the market”
I’ve researched many PEMF systems on the market and have concluded that the Sedona Pro is the best all around medium intensity system for the money. It is very versatile as it possesses several different waveforms. It stands out against the competition as you can use both the pillow and the mat simultaneously… The quality is rock solid as I’ve owned the device since May 2018 and have never experienced any problems. The mat provides a slight boost of alertness in the morning and in the evening there are several relaxing modes that help just before going to sleep. The mat is super relaxing after a good workout on the tennis court… I am 64 years old and a diehard tennis player… I plan on using this device for the rest of my life.

“Outstanding Unit”
I spent a lot of time researching studies on PEMF before purchasing the Sedona Pro. Because of the variety of waveforms and intensities it offers, as well as being able to use two devices at once, I believe it gives the most value of any device on the market… Also the customer support and service from Franz is excellent.

“Working great so far”
When I was looking to a device, I researched a bunch of them… Franz, the creator of the mat, calls me and goes over all the details… 2 weeks later the mat arrives and he’s on the phone with us giving us tips and telling us all how to use it. He’s answered same day all my emails… The mat and pillow are very heavy, well made… but Franz and his level of commitment is what’s most important and why I’d recommend this so strongly.

StemPulse and MultiPulse (ICES) users
The StemPulse and MultiPulse use ICES technology, developed by Robert G. Dennis, PhD, founder of Micro-Pulse. In 2019, Dr. Dennis surveyed 421 attendees of the Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine conference about how they use PEMF. He published the results in The Journal of Science and Medicine (2021):
- 86% of respondents were individual users and 14% were clinicians.
- The most common uses were injury recovery (58%), chronic pain (47%), and general health (37%).
- 79% reported never observing an adverse effect. The rest reported temporary effects only, and no permanent adverse effects were reported.
Limits worth knowing: the group was, in the author’s words, “highly self-selected for alternative clinicians, patients, and those applying self-treatment,” and responses skewed toward Micro-Pulse systems. Dr. Dennis discloses that he owns Micro-Pulse, holds ICES patents, and receives NASA licensing royalties. It’s a picture of how experienced users see PEMF, not a clinical trial.
ICES owners also share their own experiences, good and bad, on Dr. Dennis’s Flux Health forum.
